- Giving direct, strong commands, often used in emergencies, rough speech, or written rules.
- Rule
For Ichidan verbs, replace ru with ro. For Godan verbs, change the final u-row vowel to the e-row vowel. For irregular verbs, suru becomes shiro or se, and kuru becomes koi.

開ける (あける) → 開けろ (あけろ) 走る (はしる) → 走れ (はしれ) 来る (くる) → 来い (こい)
