Used for: Expressing a hypothetical condition (if...).
Rule: Ichidan: Drop る and add れば. Godan: Change the final u-row sound to the e-row and add ば. Irregular: する -> すれば, くる -> くれば.
Worked examples: 食べる -> 食べれば, 書く -> 書けば, する -> すれば
Exceptions: Negative conditional ば is formed with なければ (e.g., 食べなければ).
