Question Types (問題)
- 短文理解 (Short Passages) (~4 items): Read 4 short texts (~150-200 words) on practical or everyday topics and answer 1 question per text.
- 中文理解 (Medium Passages) (~6 items): Read 3 texts (~500 words) covering everyday essays or work topics and answer 2 questions per text.
- 長文理解 (Long Passages) (~4 items): Read 1-2 longer texts (~1,000 words) explaining logical arguments or narratives and answer 4 comprehension questions.
- 情報検索 (Information Retrieval) (~2 items): Skim notices, flyers, or guidelines (~700 words) to extract specific information based on given requirements.
How to Study This
Time management is critical for N3 Reading. Practice timed reading sections to build speed. Always read questions and key choices before scanning passages. For information retrieval, focus on conditions/asterisks without reading the full text line by line.
