Study Tactics

Expose yourself to natural Japanese speed through news broadcasts (NHK), podcasts, and talk shows. For Quick Response (即時応答), practice shadowing spoken colloquialisms, honorifics (敬語), and indirect expressions. Take notes efficiently using symbols during longer passages, and train yourself to predict questions before the audio plays by reviewing option sheets during pauses.
